American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) Institute Craniofacial Pain Mini-Residency is organized by American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) and would be held during | Feb 8 - 10, 2018 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dallas - DFW Airport North, Dallas, Texas, United States Of America.This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 23 CE Credits.
By the end of Session 3, participants should also have acquired, improved and /or updated their knowledge of and the ability to administer physical medicine modalities and understand which treatment is best for their patient. Participants should also be able to secure a rest position bite registration for orthotic fabrication and be able to fabricate in office the many different types of orthotics necessary for patient treatment. Each person should be able to organize and prepare a proper case presentation.
Conference Objectives are :
Upon completion of Session 3, participants should be able to:
1. Prescribe the physical medicine modalities that best Complement and enhance the treatment objectives.
2. Apply electro-diagnostic instrumentation in the evaluation of the craniofacial pain patient.
3. Understand the different intraoral orthotics, (eg. types, designs, fabrications and management.)
4. Be able to fabricate the different orthotics in their office and be able to know which orthotics to use for each patient.
