Course Description:
The market for body shaping procedures, sexual enhancement, and venous treatment has experienced tremendous growth as patients desire youthful body contours to match their useful facial enhancements, as well as their youthful energy levels as a result of bio-identical hormone replacement. Sexual enhancement treatments not only produce aesthetic results but also enhance performance and function for male and female patients. This module will provide a substantial update regarding the latest advances available to contour the body, reduce inches and cellulite, restore sexual function and youthful contour, and treat unwanted veins for the experienced as well as the novice aesthetic practitioner.
Conference Objectives are:
• Comprehend the incidence, prevalence, and morbidity associated with chronic venous insufficiency
• Understand the risk factors for venous disease including heredity, hormonal influences, lifestyle, and congenital abnormalities
• Perform differential diagnosis of venous disease symptomology
• Review venous anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
• Participate in an interactive session with leading experts performing physical examination of patients presenting with venous pathology ranging from telangiectasias to deep venous system abnormalities
• Learn to use diagnostic tools for the evaluation of venous insufficiency including transillumination (vein light), photoplethysmography (PPG), continuous wave Doppler, and duplex ultrasound and their value in differential diagnosis and view live demonstrations of these devices
• Review mechanisms of action of the sclerosants used in sclerotherapy including hypertonic saline, polidocanol, sotradecol, polyiodinated iodine, glycerin, and foam sclerosants and the risks and benefits associated with each
• Learn "best practice" injection techniques for performing effective sclerotherapy treatments

No refund will be made if the request is made within 90 days of the educational event. Refunds will not be issued to non-show registrants.
Substitutions are always welcome in lieu of cancellation. No transfers to alternate events will be made if the request is submitted within 90 days of the original event.
Persons who register and fail to attend will not receive a refund. BRAINWeek, at its sole discretion, may transfer your registration to an upcoming conference or to a healthcare provider colleague.
