ACLS Weekday Recertification Course by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (Nov 27 - 28, 2018)

ACLS Weekday Recertification Course is organized by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and will be held during Nov 27 - 28, 2018 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

CME credits
• MAINPRO Credits (CFPC): Eligible for 0.5 Mainpro-C credits per hour of participation. A copy of your certification card needs to be submitted.
• MAINPORT Credits (RCPSC): Eligible for credit under Section 2 (Self-Learning Activities) “Traineeship”. Enter the number of hours you participated in the course (these will be doubled in your credits).

Course Prerequisites
• Must have a current Heart & Stroke Foundation ACLS provider course completion card (a grace period of 6 months post-expiry is accepted)
• Complete the Pre-course Self-Assessment. Requires a passing score of 70% or higher to print certificate.
• Be Proficient in the following:
• Performing high-quality BLS skills
• Reading and interpreting electrocardiograms (ECGs)
• Be able to identify rhythms associated with bradycardia, tachycardia, and pulseless arrest (ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole).

Course Completion Card
• ACLS Course Completion Card is issued by the Heart & Stroke Foundation
• Completion card valid for two years from date of issue
• Completion card is accessible by logging onto student account on Heart & Stroke Portal

• MD / Dentist: $490
