30th Annual Fall Foliage Cancer Conference is organized by Community Cancer Education (CCE) and will be held from Oct 12 - 13, 2018 at The Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, North Carolina, United States of America.
Pre-Conference :
Society for Advanced Bronchoscopy Pre-Conference Workshop will be held from Oct 11 - 12 at The Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, North Carolina, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Physicians (Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Thoracic Surgery), Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Radiation Therapy Technologists, and all other interested healthcare professionals. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 10.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
CME Credits:
The Charlotte Area Health Education Center (AHEC) designates this continuing education program as fulfilling the requirement for a maximum of 1.03 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), representing 10.25 Contact Hours.

This two-day symposium is designed to give the practicing physician and allied health professionals a review of current treatment management of lung cancer. Physicians, distinguished as teachers and oncologists, will share their knowledge and experience. Join us at this historic venue with mountain views and beautiful fall foliage as the conference setting. The conference is co-sponsored by Community Cancer Education, Inc. and Carolinas Healthcare System/Charlotte AHEC.
Conference Objectives:
• Describe emerging developments in the screening and prevention of lung cancer.
• Review updates in radiation therapy and the abscopal effect in lung cancer.
• Identify future approaches in small cell lung cancer treatments.
• Define developments in minimally invasive thoracic surgery.
• Describe the current and future use of immunotherapies in treating lung cancer.
• Explain the advancements in bronchoscopy that helps the lung cancer care team.
• Discuss the advances in targeted therapies in the treatment of lung cancer.
• Evaluate interventions that accelerate recovery in lung cancer surgery.
• Discuss advances in radiosurgery for the treatment of lung cancer.
