2018 Transforming Dermatology in the Digital Era is organized by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and will be held on Oct 25, 2018 at Mortimer B. Zuckerman Research Center, New York City, New York, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Participants from clinical medicine, computer science, and industry who are interested in medical diagnosis in general and dermatologic diagnosis in particular. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course Description:
This highly anticipated annual course brings together international leaders from academia and industry to provide an update on exciting developments in the application of digital technologies to dermatologic diagnosis, with a special emphasis on skin cancer.
Course Objectives:
• Understand the changing medical landscape and the opportunities/barriers to leveraging mobile computing and artificial intelligence for dermatologic diagnosis.
• Understand the benefits, limitations and legal barriers of teledermatology.
• Define the privacy/security issues associated with the use of dermatology images in a digital environment (e.g., EMR, patient communications, and research).
• Understand the current landscape and anticipated developments in dermatologic photography and diagnostic imaging.
