OVERVIEW

The 42nd Annual Fitz-Hugh Symposium is organized by University of Virginia and will be held during Jun 21 - 23, 2018 at Pinn Hall Conference Center (formerly Jordan Hall), Charlottesville, Virginia, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is health professionals involved in all aspects of otolaryngology. This includes a broad audience of otolaryngologists, allergists and immunologists, neurologists, audiologists, internists, primary care providers, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other allied health providers. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 10.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Description :
This year’s symposium will focus on new technologies and advances in otolaryngology, multidisciplinary team approaches, and legal/business considerations in an ever changing healthcare environment.

Conference Objectives are :
• Discern the broader implications of laryngeal pathology, and the varied ways of evaluating them.
• Discuss the complexities of varied head and neck, facial cutaneous defects and approach them with multiple options for closure.
• Comprehensively approach sinonasal disease from both a clinical and radiologic perspective.
• Logically evaluate swallowing and dysphasia as it commonly is evaluated in the otolaryngology practice.
• Discuss and debate the ongoing challenges faced by the practicing otolaryngologist beyond the sphere of clinical medicine.
