OVERVIEW

1st European Symposium on Myeloid Regulatory Cells in Health and Disease is organized by Conventus Congressmanagement & Marketing GmbH and will be held from Nov 01 - 03, 2018 at Learning and teaching center of the medical faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

In recent years we have all learned to appreciate the great plasticity and functional diversity of myeloid cells. In a disease setting, dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils and myeloid-derived suppressor cells undergo abnormal differentiation and functional modulation. In this context disease promoting and immunosuppressive traits are acquired. On the other hand, regulation of overshooting immunity is also an important task of myeloid cells and this can be exploited therapeutically.

Conference topics focus on most recent findings about cell biology of MRC and address their role in disease:
• Autoimmunity and transplantation
• Infectious disease
• Cancer and inflammation
• Cellular plasticity
• Generation and regulation
• Interaction with other cells
• Microbiota and MRC biology

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
