Course Description:
Program sessions integrate the most current scientific and clinical information and incorporate case-based learning methods. A discussion period after each presentation will be used to clarify and debate issues. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit exhibits.

• Describe diagnostic and management skills relevant to improving the care of the hospitalized patient.
• Implement optimal team-based strategies to promote systems changes and quality improvement.
• Promote successful transitions of care to the outpatient care arena.
