• Provides the knowledge and skills to start integrating focused ultrasound and echo into daily clinical practice - a foundation in the ultrasound skills needed for Intensive Care
• Suitable for Consultants, SASGs and advanced trainees in Intensive Care and Acute Medicine
• Interactive, focused lectures, with extensive use of clinical cases and video clips
• Practical sessions with supervised ‘hands-on’ scanning practice on models, patients (condition allowing) and phantoms
• Become familiar with the physics of ultrasound, learn how to set up the machines and obtain diagnostic quality images
• Understand training and accreditation requirements including logbook
