12th Annual Otolaryngology Update in New York City is organized by Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (P&S) and will be held from Oct 18 - 19, 2018 at New York Marriott Marquis, New York City, New York, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeons. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 13.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Description:
Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeons practice both the medical and surgical aspects of our specialty. Advances can come rapidly from different areas. Most educational courses focus on a particular part of the specialty, such as sinus surgery, otology, or facial plastic surgery. Therefore, there is a strong need for a comprehensive update course in the New York City area. This course will allow the participants to receive a cogent but comprehensive update and review on all aspects of the specialty, at a single course. Similar courses are held in other parts of the country, and are highly-rated and well-attended. This course is designed for practicing otolaryngologists and residents in training nationally.
Learning Objectives:
It is intended that this Columbia University CME activity will lead to improved patient care. At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe the latest advances in auditory implants, hearing loss, hearing aids, and rehabilitation
• Discuss the diagnostic evaluation of patients with voice and swallowing disorders
• Identify the current role of surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy in the management of patients with head and neck cancer
• Identify the treatment options, adjunct therapies and aesthetic considerations to Rhinoplasty due to nasal deformity
• Discuss Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS) and options in its contemporary management to optimize outcomes and minimize complications.

Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
