Trainee Day : Leadership and Management is organized by Intensive Care Society (ICS) and would be held on Jun 02, 2017 at The Intensive Care Society, London, England, United Kingdom.

Preparing to be a consultant intensivist in the modern NHS This one day seminar will address key areas of management and leadership essential for becoming a consultant intensivist in the modern NHS. Topics will include - bringing about change, learning to negotiate, managing teams, what makes a successful ICU and how to land your dream consultant job. Professor Peter Brindley (ICS Visiting Senior Fellow, University of Alberta) will speak on how to avoid burnout in the ICU. The day is intended primarily for senior trainees in intensive care medicine but all are welcome.
