Positive Approaches to Managing Challenging Behaviours in Young Children with Additional Needs is organized by Early Childhood Intervention Australia (ECIA) and would be held on May 12, 2017 at ECIA NSW / ACT Office, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

This workshop will outline the principles of Positive Behaviour Support, a tiered approach to prevention and intervention within an early childhood context and strategies to determine the function or purpose of a challenging behaviour.

The workshop will also provide very practical strategies aimed at increasing the participation of children with additional needs into the daily program with a focus on improving turn taking, sharing, flexibility, emotional regulation and social engagement
