OVERVIEW
Pelvic Anatomy and Gynecologic Surgery Symposium (PAGS) is organized by Global Academy For Medical Education and will be held during Dec 14 - 16, 2017 at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is gynecologists, Ob/Gyns, residents in OB/GYN, and subspecialty fellows. Residents, fellows and Advanced Practice Health Clinicians are welcome at reduced rates. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 31.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Special to the 2017 PAGS will be our special Keynote Sessions on "Avoiding and Managing Postpartum Perineal Disorders" and "Management of Obstetric Hemorrhage", each presented by maternal/fetal medicine expert Bahaeddine M.Sibai, MD.

Conference Objectives :
• Recognize key anatomic and physiological principles involved in the treatment of pelvic disorders.
• Identify strategies for avoiding and managing urogynecologic and laparoscopic surgical complications.
• Apply techniques and principles in surgery through hands-on experience.
• Recognize the most appropriate routes of surgery for various gynecological conditions.
• Explain the most recent developments in robotic-assisted, laparoscopic, and open surgery for myomectomy, endometrial hyperplasia, hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair and vaginal hysterectomy with oophorectomy.
• Describe current tissue extraction/retrieval techniques.
• Discuss nuances, indications, and techniques for single port and vaginal hysterectomy and "conventional" laparoscopy vs robotic surgery.
• Describe the role of hysteroscopic surgery, including sterilization techniques.
• Recognize current gynecologic oncology practices, including appropriate screening and management of breast masses.
• Discuss interdisciplinary medical and nonmedical treatment strategies for women with female sexual dysfunction.
• Evaluate the differences in definitions, severity criteria, and duration of disease for female sexual dysfunction as published in DSM–5.
