Osterreichische Gesellschaft fur Allergologie und Immunologi (OGAI)/Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology Annual Meeting 2017

Osterreichische Gesellschaft fur Allergologie und Immunologi (OGAI)/Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology Annual Meeting is organized by Osterreichische Gesellschaft fur Allergologie und Immunologi (OGAI)/Austrian Society for Allergology and Immunology and would be held during Nov 23 - 25, 2017 at Federal Ministry of Health and Women's Affairs, Vienna, Wien, Austria.

This Course covers basic and clinical immunology, infectious diseases, immune therapies as well as basic and clinical allergology. These topics will not only be addressed by outstanding international speakers but also by young scientists who will have the opportunity to present and discuss their work in oral and poster presentations, since supporting young talents is one of the main issues of this society.

The main focus of the Conference emphasizes the advancement of a better understanding about the immune system, the consequences of immune dysfunctions and the improvement of treatment and prevention of immune-mediated diseases. Therefore, the ÖGAI fosters basic as well as translational research and also implementation into the clinics.

Furthermore, the ÖGAI supports excellence with respect to training and exercise within the topics Allergology and Immunology and serves as mediator and authority regarding specific information on the immune system and its multiple dysfunctions, i.e. allergy, autoimmunity, immunodeficiency for non-specialists, public authorities and experts.
