Non-Medical Prescribing 2017

Through national updates and practical case studies delegates will hear how to develop and maintain prescribing competence, and how to develop effectiveness in post qualification practice. There will be a focus on the New National competency framework for all prescribers and how the framework can be implemented in non medical prescribing practice. This timely conference will update delegates on their responsibilities with regard to maintaining non-medical prescribing competence for revalidation and the the NMC Code which has included specific requirements for prescribing and medicines management as well as leadership. The conference will include case studies demonstrating prescribing competence and will also focus on difficult issue such as prescribing for comorbidities.
