Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Rehabilitation Following Laryngectomy is organized by Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and would be held during Nov 17 - 18, 2017 at Foundation House at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for Speech and Language Pathologists, Head and Neck Surgeons, Nurses, and Residents involved in the diagnosis and treatment of the laryngectomy patient. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Participants claiming CME credit from this activity may submit the credit hours to the American Osteopathic Association for Category 2 credit. ASHA has approved this course for 1.35 ASHA CEU’s.

Conference Objectives are :

By attending this program participants will be able to:
• Describe and perform the latest in surgical techniques for voice restoration following total laryngectomy.
• Differentiate between primary and secondary voice prosthesis placement and identify pros and cons of each.
• Plan the selection of the appropriate voice prosthesis following total laryngectomy.
• Summarize the benefits of heat moisture exchangers (HMEs) and hands-free valves.
