OVERVIEW
Imaging in Tuscany - 15th Annual Radiology Conference is organized by UC San Diego School of Medicine and would be held during Oct 22 - 26, 2017 at Relais Vignale, Siena, Tuscany, Italy. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 21.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Course description : -
This course is designed for physicians and allied health professionals. It will cover basic topics and advances in imaging techniques in the diagnosis of diseases of the central nervous system, breast, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal systems in adults and pediatric patients. CT, MR, mammography, and ultrasound will be highlighted, as well as specialized techniques, such as PET-CT, biopsy methods, and treatment procedures. Lectures will emphasize image interpretation, differential diagnosis, and review of disease processes.
Conference Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Identify disease processes that affect various organs systems including: brain, breast, musculoskeletal, abdominal and cardiac.
• Employ differential diagnoses based on specific imaging features of disease to improve diagnostic accuracy.
• Develop indications and techniques for therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Integrate new imaging modalities and interventional procedures into their practice.
