Global Diabetic Foot Course

Global Diabetic Foot Course is organized by Educare Exhibition and Conference Organizer and will be held during Nov 21 - 24, 2017 at Rixos Premium Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 30 CME/CNA Credit Hours.

The course based on the knowledge and structure of treatment delivered by the Intentional Multidisciplinary Faculties specialized in Diabetic Foot Course.

Participants will gain insight in both the theory and the practical of the field. By also focusing on the structure of treatment and guidelines for establishing a diabetic foot service, the courses reach out to clinicians as well as hospital department or clinic management.

Learning Objectives are :
• Demonstrate the basic principles of managing skin and nail disease.
• Recall the underlying etiopathogenesis of diabetic foot ulcers and how this relates to appropriate management.
• Recognize the presenting characteristics of infections of the skin, nail, soft tissue and bone and demonstrate their appropriate management.
• Understand current classification systems for diabetic foot ulcers and diabetic foot infections.
• Identify the basic pathophysiologic mechanisms involved in chronic wounds to be able to determine and utilize appropriate interventions to affect final healing.
• Recognize the ischemic and neuroischemic foot through clinical and diagnostic modalities and understand various treatment options for management.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the evidence supporting multiple advanced wound technologies that can be used to expedite chronic wound healing.
• Identify the role for surgical interventions in the management of high risk lower extremity disorders.
