OVERVIEW
Complex Coronary Valvular and Vascular Cases (CCVVC) is organized by Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and would be held during Jun 14 - 16, 2017 at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, United States of America. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 26.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
The target audience for this medical event are Interventional Cardiologists who manage patients with complex, challenging anatomy for revascularization, Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Surgeons, Cardiology Fellows with an interest in Interventional Cardiology, Nurses, Technicians, and other Allied Health Care Professionals who work in Cardiac Catheterization and Vascular Laboratories.
Educational Objectives
The overall goal of this program is to enhance knowledge and improve understanding of various interventional techniques and devices with management of various cardiac disease states.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Select the appropriate revascularization strategy in the treatment of unprotected left main disease.
• Plan for the best interventional strategy with increasing wire escalations for revascularization of chronic total occlusion.
• Apply case selection and choose the appropriate interventional devices including coated balloon for PAD treatment.
• Select the appropriate cases for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) or Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement (SAVR) in patients with severe aortic stenosis.
