Educational Objectives
• Explain the interrelationships among the various cardiometabolic risk factors, their impact on cardiovascular health, and their common comorbidities.
• Translate evidence-based strategies for prevention, screening, and treatment of cardiometabolic risk factors and their comorbidities to their clinical practice.
• Identify which interventions, including lifestyle changes and various drugs in combination, are most appropriate for particular patients based on their risk profiles.
Description
This meeting will provide updates on current, new, and emerging therapies, treatment guidelines, and practical strategies to personalize care and empower patients to reduce global cardiometabolic risk and improve patient outcomes. The integrated curriculum will address such clinically relevant topics in cardiometabolic health as CVD prevention, diabetes, hypertension and heart failure, and nutrition.
The CMHC has over a decade of history bringing together experts across the spectrum of diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease to share ideas and foster collaborations. The program is at the cutting edge of science, translating the latest research to practical approaches for the entire multidisciplinary health care team. CMHC offers live conferences and online educational programs.
The target audience for this conference is an interdisciplinary mix of mid to advanced level health care professionals, including primary care clinicians, internists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, obesity specialists, lipidologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and Certified Diabetes Educators.

This is our canceling policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. If you are calling to cancel, for verification we will still require you to send an email to info@brainweek.org with your intent to cancel. You will receive confirmation of your cancellation via email.
We will offer a 100% refund within 72 hours from the time of purchase less $100 credit card processing fee.
After 72 hours, refunds will be less 50%. All refund requests must be made in writing and post marked or tax stamped no later than 90 days before the event.
No refund will be made if the request is made within 90 days of the educational event. Refunds will not be issued to non-show registrants.
Substitutions are always welcome in lieu of cancellation. No transfers to alternate events will be made if the request is submitted within 90 days of the original event.
Persons who register and fail to attend will not receive a refund. BRAINWeek, at its sole discretion, may transfer your registration to an upcoming conference or to a healthcare provider colleague. Cancellation of your conference registration does not automatically cancel your hotel room reservation. Please contact the hotel to cancel your room; penalties may apply.
