American Academy of Dermatology's (AAD) Derm Exam Prep Course For Recertification is organized by American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and would be held during Nov 17 - 19, 2017 at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is basically for dermatologists preparing for the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) examination being conducted by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD).Dermatologists wishing to benchmark their medical knowledge in general dermatology and/or the subspecialties of dermatopathology, surgical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and medical dermatology against competence standards as determined by the American Board of Dermatology.
This cme conference has been approved with maximum of 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.The American Academy of Dermatology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Objectives:
• Diagnose general dermatologic conditions and diseases within the American Board of Dermatology standards for competency.
• Identify dermatologic diseases and conditions based on case vignettes and images.
• Self-assess current knowledge and reflect on their clinical practice as stimulated by the dermatologic images, anonymous benchmarking feedback, and discussion at the course.
• Self-identify content areas for additional study in preparation for the examination.
• Describe the four components of Maintenance of Certification.
