OVERVIEW
5th Annual International C. diff. Awareness Conference and Health EXPO is organized by C Diff Foundation and would be held during Nov 9 - 10, 2017 at University of Nevada - Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America.
The International C. diff. Awareness Conference has become successful for keeping health care professionals, researchers, and industry informed on the most up-to-date data and advances in the C. difficile community. This year's conference guest speakers will deliver presentations focusing on Clostridium difficile infection prevention, treatments, diagnostics, clinical trials, research, and environmental safety --expanding topics into the IBD community and key points in infection prevention.
Learning objectives are :
• Recognize major achievements in the surveillance, prevention, and treatment of C. difficile infections of the past 10 years.
• Identify remaining challenges in the U.S. and global battles to prevent C.difficile infections including possible reasons why we are not yet achieving U.S. targets for prevention.
• Understand emerging knowledge about epidemiology and unique prevention strategies and how they might be leveraged in the ongoing battle against C. difficile infections.
• Gain knowledge of C. diff. diagnostics, latest technology available.
• Understand research and development in gut Microbiome, Diagnosis of IBS-C, IBS-D clinical trials to treat on the horizon.
• Expand understanding of C. diff. infection (CDI), Recurrent CDI, prevention, and treatments in clinical studies and identify patients that may benefit from clinical program participation.
• Gain knowledge of Sepsis; Awareness, Diagnosis, Treatment, Prevention.
• Identify nutritional demands in the patient diagnosed with C. diff., Sepsis, IBD and related digestive alterations.
