26th Annual Postgraduate Course in Advanced Gynecologic Surgery is organized by Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS) and will be held during Nov 30 - Dec 02, 2017 at Miami Anatomical Research Center (MARC), Doral, Florida, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event for Gynecologists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 22.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives are :
• Formulate and practice techniques to optimize trans-vaginal hysterectomy and other minimally invasive approaches to perform hysterectomy.
• Identify and discuss the surgical anatomy of the pelvis as it relates to gynecologic surgery, as well as the biomechanics of pelvic support and continence.
• Describe national initiatives to minimize surgical risk, increase volume and improve ability to manage complications.
• Cite data regarding the routine use of cystoscopy to recognize intraoperative urinary tract injury during gynecologic surgery.
• Formulate clinical algorithms in treatment management of patients with pelvic pain and endometriosis.
• Evaluate new technologies and how and when to incorporate them safely into surgical practice.
• Assimilate new techniques for teaching gynecologic surgery into practice.
