Wilderness Medical Society (WMS) 24th Annual Winter Meeting is organized by Wilderness Medical Society and would be held during Feb 18 - 24, 2016 at Grand Summit Hotel 200 The Canyons Resort Drive, Park City, Utah, United States.
The targeted audience for this medical event basically for Physicians and other medical professionals who engage in winter wilderness activities, including mountain travel, who counsel individuals who take part in such activities, or who practice in locations in which they are likely to encounter individuals who have been injured in such activities. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 23.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives are :
• Prevent, diagnose, and manage illnesses and injuries in a mountain environment.
• Demonstrate increased knowledge and skill in treating high altitude illness, hypothermia and cold injuries, and wound management.
• Understand avalanche rescue and evacuation of injured persons.
