OVERVIEW
VI World Robotics Gynecology Congress is organized by American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) - Advancing Minimally Invasive Gynecology Worldwide and would be held during Aug 5 - 6, 2016 at Grand Hyatt New York, New York, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event are basically for on-robotic surgeons, training and practicing robotic surgeons, allied health professionals, as well as healthcare executives and administrators who are interested in advancing their knowledge in the role of robotics in pelvic surgery.
The 6th World Robotics Gynecology Congress represents an evolution in surgical instruments, techniques, outcomes, and experiences from some of the most experienced robotic surgeons in the world. This year's program also represents the 6th Anniversary of what has become the largest dedicated gynecologic robotics congress in the world. Seven specific plenary sessions will target topics such as complex surgical scenarios, reproductive surgery, and urogynecology.
Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, the clinician will be able to:
• Formulate techniques to prevent, recognize, and repair intra-operative complications,
including genito-urinary, gastrointestinal, and vascular injuries
• Appraise relevant options, indications, principles, techniques, and outcomes of minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedures centered upon a multi-functional robotics platform
• Review surgical anatomy of the female abdomen and pelvis and its role in surgical dissection techniques for complex hysterectomy, endometriosis, myomectomy, and pelvic support procedures
• Analyze various models for developing fiscal responsibility and surgical team efficiency during robot-assisted gynecologic surgery.
