The Fourth Cleveland Clinic Brain Mapping Workshop SEEG in Frontal Lobe Epilepsy is organized by Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Medical Education and would be held during May 4 - 7, 2016 at The Tudor Arms Hotel Cleveland - A DoubleTree by Hilton - Cleveland, OH.
The target audience for this medical event basically for Neurosurgeons and Neurologists.
The aim of this workshop is to demonstrate and exemplify, through a practical and comprehensive approach, the utility of the stereo-electroencephalography methodology in mapping epileptic and functional networks, which are originated or spreading to the frontal lobe areas of the human brain.

Learning Objectives
1. Discuss the analyses methods for ictal video-recordings.
2. Explore the correlations between ictal signs, semiology and EEG patterns.
3. Discuss the correlations between emergence of semiology, early ictal discharges and cortical functional anatomy in SEEG.
4. Explore the role of semiology in presurgical investigations, especially in tailoring the SEEG electrode implantation.
5. Apply the network concept of seizure organization in practice from planning the implantation to the final resection strategy.
