Sports Medicine: Beyond ACLs and Ankle Tape Conference is organized by MedStar Health and would be held on Nov 05, 2016 at Lafayette Centre, Washington, Dist Of Col, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event are basically for orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, radiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, occupational therapists, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other allied health professionals involved in sports medicine. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

This medical conference course will improve practitioner's knowledge of sports performance enhancement analytics, genetic testing and the diagnosis and management of sport related injuries. State of the art information will be discussed in areas such analytics, advanced ultrasound techniques and nutrient/genetic testing to identify injury risk and improve prevention strategies.

Objectives :
• Recognize shortcomings of current ACL treatment philosophy/practices to implement new strategies to improve anatomic ACL preservation and utilize biologic structural augmentation to improve outcomes
• Be familiar with the signs and symptoms of a concussion and utilize several commonly used sideline assessment tools • Recognize the importance of When in Doubt, Sit them Out
• Discuss trends in concussion epidemiology, utilize newer concussion therapies and office treatment protocols for concussion injuries and utilize evidence based management algorithms in treating young athletes
• Understand the emerging role of analytics in sports medicine and how they can be potentially used to develop an injury risk model.
