OVERVIEW
Purinergic Signaling (J5) is organized by Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology and would be held during Jan 24 - 28, 2016 at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver - Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The meeting will focus on the paradigm-shifting realization of dynamic purinergic regulation in the setting of disease progression. A focus on the effects of hypoxia, metabolic stress and cytokines will fill gaps in this current knowledge of how these factors influence signaling during the evolution of acute and chronic inflammation. An understanding of how purinergic signals are dynamically regulated is needed to identify improved therapies, e.g., for cancer immunotherapy, since tumors exploit these pathways to avoid immune surveillance.
