Nuchal Translucency Education and Quality Monitoring Program is organized by Institute for Advanced Medical Education (IAME) and would be held during Sept 09, 2016 at Las Vegas, Nevada, United States Of America. The targeted audience for this medical meeting basically for Physicians, Physician Sonologists and Sonographers.
Nuchal Translucency (NT) measurement in association with first trimester biochemistry has been shown to be an excellent screening modality for chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus. The Maternal Fetal Medicine Foundation (MFMF) recognizes the need for quality assurance in the area of first trimester risk assessment and presents this educational course with the Institute of Advanced Medical Education on the theories and techniques involved in obtaining accurate NT measurements.
After attending the NT Credentialing course each participant will:
1.Understand the data underlying first trimester screening, second trimester screening and a combination of first and second trimester screening for fetal aneuploidy.
2.Become familiar with the standardized technique for imaging and measuring the fetal nuchal translucency.
3.Understand the importance and methods underlying quality assurance for nuchal translucency sonography.
4.Be aware of the pitfalls and implementation difficulty in applying nuchal translucency base screening to a clinical practice
5.Use information acquired in this activity to achieve NT Credentialing.
