Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB) was created to improve incident investigations in healthcare. This course will provide guidance and best practice on how to use concerns to drive improvements in patient safety. This medical event teaches how to develop early actions to remedy failing, interact sensitively with patients or families who have been harmed and mitigate error through human factors analysis.
