OVERVIEW
Headache Update 2016 is organized by Diamond Headache Clinic Reseach and Educational Foundation and would be held during Jul 14 - 17, 2016 at Disney Grand Floridian Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States of America.
The targeted audience for this medical event are all primary care providers and those specialists who have an interest in migraine and other headache disorders including but not limited to anesthesia, pain and addiction, internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics,emergency medicine, ear, nose and throat, neurology, hospitalists, psychiatry, and pharmacists as well as other health care professionals (physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses) who are involved in the diagnosis and management of headache patients. This CME conference has been approved with 27.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After participating in this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
1. Incorporate the differential diagnoses of primary headache disorders.
2. Implement preventive treatment as migraine is progressing and transforming.
3. Employ various options available for treating the pediatric migraineur.
4. Determine the challenges and treatment protocols for post-traumatic headache.
5. Use effective therapeutic tools that address the gender specific challenges of treating women with migraine.
