Personalized medicine is ever evolving in cancer care through genetic testing. Cutting edge in cancer care represented by Precision Medicine is the practice of determining the treatment of cancer patients by studying the specific genomic characteristics of each individual’s cancer. The overall educational goals of this CME activity is to increase awareness and apply in practice, the new cancer targets for various cancer sites based through personalized care. The conference will discuss how genomic science is starting to guide therapeutic decision making. It will review the tools employed to determine the genomics of a patient’s cancer and how to apply this knowledge in selecting therapy.
