OVERVIEW

Discovering several latest approaches in the neurology has helped the neurologists to address numerous challenges. With the varying conditions of the patients and the treatment requirements, research has been working for effective inputs to reach greater heights in the treatment process and prevention of diseases. For enhancing the knowledge of neurologists, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSH) brings you a great opportunity to participate in a conference Blood Brain Barrier to update you on the latest conceptual approaches and practical application of methods to the neuro protective physiologies of BBB structures. The conference is led by several renowned speakers who would be sharing their knowledge and expertise providing insights on vertebrate BBB physiology and BBB functions. You could meet the renowned speaker, Andrea Brand, PhD FRS FMedSci, who is a Professor of Molecular Biology and a member of the department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, and Dr. Daniel Irimia, who is a bioengineer has passion towards understanding and assessing the clinical consequences of neutrophil activities which occur during disease and designing sophisticated tools for measuring neutrophil behaviors with high precision.

The conference is intended to foster cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas and expertise between developmental and evolutionary biologists, vascular and BBB physiologists and disease oriented industry scientists interested in modifying or circumventing specific pathways of neuroprotection. While a number of speakers have been invited, please note that the majority of oral presentations will be drawn from openly submitted abstracts.
