The Leaders in Healthcare Conference, taking place on 28 January 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

For the 2016 edition, the Leaders in Healthcare theme will focus on "Personalised Medicine – the new science in healthcare". Advances in genomic and proteomic science over the past decade have led to the development of "targeted" diagnostics and therapeutics that leverage knowledge of an individual's genetic makeup to create a more personalised approach to healthcare. This new science of personalised medicine has the potential to eliminate unnecessary treatments, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions to drugs, increase the efficacy of treatments and ultimately, improve health outcomes.
