This course provides intensive surgical skills sessions in the lab with faculty guidance on complex elbow procedures. This CME conference has been approved with 14.75 CME Credits.
Conference Objectives :
• Perform clinical evaluation of complex elbow disorders
• Direct operative setup for advanced techniques
• Manage patients requiring trauma reconstruction and instability
• Complete adult reconstruction arthroplasty for both trauma and arthritis
• Complete diagnostic arthroscopy for the elbow
• Demonstrate safe surgical approaches to the elbow
• Recognize pitfalls of elbow surgical techniques and how to avoid complications
• Repair fractures of the distal humerus, radial head, coronoid and olecranon
• Compare new approaches for elbow arthroplasty with traditional techniques.
