7th Annual International Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference is organized by Children's Mercy Hospital - Kansas City and would be held during Jun 2 - 3, 2016 at Childrens Mercy, Kansas City, Missouri, United States of America. The target audience for this medical event basically for Pediatricians.
New this year will be a Thursday morning basics of antimicrobial stewardship session targeted toward medical and pharmacy residents and fellows as well as people just starting their antimicrobial stewardship program. Also another great aspect of the conference is the Thursday night dinner that gives everyone a chance to network and enjoy a night of fun and Kansas City barbeque.
Objectives:
- Develop methods to evaluate antimicrobial stewardship within a large healthcare system.
- Demonstrate the types of charts and data that should be presented in evaluating an antimicrobial stewardship program.
- List the effective antibiotics to treat ESBL and CRE invasive infections.
