Reinvigorated by the outstanding response received from the delegates who attended 'Eleven Days of Facial Plastic Surgery, 2015’, the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital under the auspices of The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and The Pan Asia Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery will be conducting the above mentioned courses this year. All the three courses will be held at the Learning Centre and Surgical Skills Laboratory of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
The scientific program this year has been enhanced incorporating the feedback received from the participants and faculty from the last 2 courses. They are aim to provide structured and systematic training covering a wide range of topics in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. These intensive courses offer an excellent hands-on opportunity for Otolaryngology, General Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery Residents, Fellows and Consultants to expand their knowledge and surgical skills in the management of facial fractures, facial soft tissue defects, facial aging, and nasal deformities. The emphasis of these courses is on close interaction between the faculty and participants. The courses have been structured to maximize the time spent in surgical skills laboratory (7 days of hands–on dissection) under close supervision of our learned faculty. The courses will provide an unparalleled learning opportunity for the participants. During the courses, world renowned surgeons will demonstrate surgical techniques covering a broad spectrum of Facial Plastic Surgery. The participants will also benefit from the wealth of experience offered by our outstanding multidisciplinary national faculty belonging to the fields of Otolaryngology, General Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology and Maxillofacial Surgery.
