The 21st Annual Advanced Interventional Pain Conference and Practical Workshop WIP conference reflects significant changes, developments, and recognizes the evolutionary trail. Our emphasis is improvement with increased safety and better quality treatment of patients suffering from intractable miserable chronic pain. Neuromodulation is evolving in producing more evidence, improved technology and surprising new treatments and modalities for conditions that one would never have expected. Effectiveness in chronic pain, central pain, neuropsychiatric disorders, peripheral and central painful conditions are becoming realities. One inescapable fact is that interventional pain works and saves lives from unnecessary misuse and overuse of opioids. The surprising long term favorable outcomes and reduction in surgical interventions in spinal disorders is coming from multiple studies, laboratory studies, and clinical studies in the field of spinal neuroplasties and lysis of adhesions procedures. Minimally invasive surgical procedures together with endoscopic visualizations reduce unnecessary major time with surgical interventions.

Ultrasound guidance is gaining wider use and acceptance and we are happy to see that the opportunity is there for our participants to take part in the educational process for the second year in a row at at our Budapest Conference.
