Optimizing Function in Patients with Head and Neck Cancer : The MD Anderson Cancer Center Approach

This intensive two-day educational course will describe treatment modalities including surgery and reconstruction, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and their impact on speech and swallowing outcomes. Panel discussions will highlight treatment alternatives and controversies related to presented topics. Special topics in the area of speech and swallowing outcomes will help participants integrate and apply key information to be able to successfully evaluate and treat patients with head and neck cancer.
