Educational Objectives

After participating in the activity, the participant should be able to:

• Properly counsel patients with rare cancers such as penile and testicular cancer on the best available treatment options, taking into account the potential benefit of robotic surgery for tumor management (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes)
• Appropriately integrate the numerous technology-driven advances into cancer management using surgery, radiation, and chemotherapeutics, as well as diagnostics and staging (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes)
• Select patients for procedures or systemic therapies correctly, and appropriately manage toxicities and complications from treatment (Knowledge, Competence. Performance, Patient Outcomes);
• Integrate surgery and topical or systemic therapy into the management of urothelial cancer patients, while identifying rare variants or complex case scenarios that might be better served by referral to a tertiary center to improve patient care (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes).
