UC Irvine Cath Lab Essentials Program - 2014

The UCI Cath Lab Essentials Program is designed to expand upon and fill knowledge gaps brought to the attention of the cath lab faculty by the nurses and staff working in the cath lab. Cath lab nurses/staff require periodic updates on procedure techniques, basic hemodynamics, cardiovascular pathophysiology, angiography, and novel interventional procedures in this dynamic and changing field. The Society of Invasive Cardiac Professionals recommends periodic updates on current and new cath lab techniques and equipment.
