SCA/STS Critical Care Symposium

Presented in conjunction with the Society of Thoracic Surgeons this will be a state-of-the-art review of advances in cardiothoracic surgical critical care medicine. It is a half-day program of panels, case discussions, lectures and pro-con debates provided by a combination of cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists.
Topics covered will include the use of restricted view TEE, renal replacement therapy, blood transfusion, hemodynamic management and partial lung assist (mini-ECMO). Registration is limited to ensure interactivity between the attendees and the faculty.
