OVERVIEW
This one day CME accredited educational course will focus on significant updates on the state-of-the-art screening, work-up, diagnosis, staging and treatment of thoracic malignancies highlighting the need of multi-disciplinary management of complex diseases, such as small cell and non-small cell lung cancer, thymic malignancies and mesothelioma.
Two major sessions will review management aspects of curable stages of non-small cell lung cancer as well as other less common thoracic malignancies. A keynote presentation, given by an internationally recognized thought leader, will review major updates from the 2014 ASCO meeting. One major session will be dedicated to provide updates on major progress made in the management of advanced non-small cell lung cancer through molecular testing, targeted and immunotherapies.
Challenging case presentations presented in a Tumor Board format will highlight key management aspects of complex cases and attendee participation and interaction will be facilitated through Q&A and interactive panel discussions.
