Focused Thoracic and Vascular Ultrasound

Designed to familiarize the frontline intensivist with thoracic and vascular ultrasonography for diagnosis and management of the critically ill patient, this course uses human models, and pleural and vascular ultrasound task trainers to provide a hands-on learning environment. Expert ACCP faculty will provide comprehensive training in image acquisition and interpretation. For program directors, the integrated, hands-on approach to pleural and vascular procedure guidance references the American Board of Internal Medicine guidelines on critical care medicine training.
