OVERVIEW
Course Objectives
The learner should be able to improve patient care by integrat-ing the latest developments in pain management, pediatric,OB, thoracic, and cardiac anesthesia into their practice.
The learner will analyze the literature regarding vasoactivesubstances, and rate the efficacy of each in unstable or septicpatients.
The learner will identify best practices for the care and treatment of critically ill patients going to the OR; thelearner will implement improved pain management protocolsfor the critically ill patient.
To identify the requirements for practicing safe out patientanesthesia; Analyze the latest research regarding OSA inpatients undergoing surgery; Develop practice protocol spe-cific to the practitioner's facility.
