Diagnosis and proper management of GI hemorrhage can be challenging, particularly with acute attacks. Furthermore, GI hemorrhage can lead to significant health care cost burdens on the health system. Thus, educational initiatives that improve outcomes from GI hemorrhage can have a significant effect on this patient population.
