Course Overview: This course consists of lecture and participation activities designed to expand doctors’ knowledge of sinus augmentation and ridge split procedures. Emphasis will be on recognizing the clinical indications, understanding the biologic principles of these surgeries, exploring the latest techniques and materials available, and understanding the rationale behind these methods. • Explain the indications and contraindications of various sinus lift techniques and various alveolar ridge deciencies • Determine the limitations of inferior sinus lift techniques – When to perform lateral vs. crestal • Incorporate simple techniques for fast and safe elevation of the sinus membrane into their practice • Assess dierent strategic approaches to clinical cases according to the condition of the alveolar ridge • Compare and contrast simple and conservative approaches for ridge splitting procedure • Discuss implant maintenance and how to overcome fractures and failures Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
