American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons (AACMFS) Annual Meeting 2020 is organized by American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons (AACMFS). The session is held from Nov 08 - 09, 2020 at Horseshoe Bossier City, Bossier City, Louisiana, United States of America. Targeted Audience: The Scientific Annual symposium is intended for oral and maxillofacial surgeons who are members of the AACMFS, and joined together to elevate their field of practice and are involved in sharing expertise and setting future direction. Fellows and residents in similar specialties may be invited by Academy members to present abstracts, and participate in the symposium. Conference Overview: The purpose of the AACMFS is to promote the health and quality of life of patients with congenital and acquired CMF complications by the advancement of knowledge of the science and art of CMF surgery. Fellows of the Academy will present their selected outlines on contemporary analysis and variations in practice in the areas of, 1. pediatrics, craniomaxillofacial and orthognathic surgery 2. trauma 3. head and neck oncology 4. reconstruction and 5. education, training, and research This activity aims to joint the experts in their respective fields to yield scientific studies, technological advancements, and clinical outcomes, and eventually to develop care for patients with craniomaxillofacial pathologies. Conference objectives • Evaluate research abstracts and studies that are related to craniomaxillofacial patient populations, pathology and treatment options, and the suggestions for changes in practice • Discuss advancements in biologics and technology, and appropriate utilization • Evaluate potential academic and curricular adjustments to intensify knowledge, competency and improve relevancy • Explore contemporary interdisciplinary and cross-functional patient care delivery patterns concerning your clinical setting • Distinguish developing aspects of care and technologies within oral maxillofacial surgery, which influence patient care, education, and a need for unique surgeon leadership. • Review management approaches and innovative partnerships that can revolutionize and enhance healthcare delivery Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
