Improved techniques, new, safer sclerosing agents, and high patient demand for in-office aesthetic procedures makes Sclerotherapy Training for nurses and physicians a must for any physician practice wishing to expand their services. Over 80 million Americans suffer from unsightly venous disease and the vast majority (75%) of these is cosmetic in nature which you will understand and be able to treat after completing our training. Visible veins give the impression of age and poor health and though many people wish to receive treatment, they are unaware of the safety, effectiveness, and lack of discomfort associated with newer sclerotherapy methods. Sclerotherapy by injection uses small amounts of detergent solutions to irritate the vein walls and achieve ultimate closure of the unwanted vein. Dermal Filler Classes Every Weekend: The Dermal Filler injections are taught on the Sunday following the Saturday Botox course. Empire offers over 600 seminars annually held every weekend in cities throughout the entire USA (also Asia, Australia, South America). Empire has successfully graduated over 100,000 dentists and physicians over the past 18 years and remains the only recognized source for quality education in Aesthetics. The popularity of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments among patients for aesthetic purposes has exploded in recent years as patients are now realizing the long-term and permanent benefits of this procedure. With the average treatment cost of $600 - $1,800 per patient depending upon indications aesthetically or medically, it allows for the physician to realize additional cash revenues within their practice with little or no capital expenditure. Empire Medical's Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Training is the perfect complement to other aesthetic injectible procedures (i.e. Botox/Dermal Fillers) and can be easily incorporated into any type of medical or aesthetic practice.PRP therapies allow for the separation of a patient’s blood through a variety of harvesting techniques to extract a concentration of autologous platelets (2.5x – 9.0x). These platelets when activated release adhesive glycoproteins (fibrin, fibronectin, and vitronectin) and various growth factors forming a fibrin mesh under the tissue.
