2020 Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG) GI and Liver Symposium is organized by Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG) and will be held from Dec 04 - 06, 2020 at Montage Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach, California, United States of America. Target Audience: This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners involved in the care of patients with chronic liver disease and gastrointestinal disorders. Overview: The symposium provides a unique opportunity to receive a comprehensive update in chronic liver disease and gastrointestinal disorders from nationally renowned faculty. The educational lectures at this symposium focused on important advances presented at the annual American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) Meeting and/or in recent publications. Attendees also had ample opportunity to interact with colleagues, our expert faculty members, and industry representatives. Educational Objectives: Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to: • Describe chronic liver disease (CLD) management recommendations/guidelines for new treatments, and describe current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders • Optimize treatment results for patients with CLD, through utilizing new therapies, through utilizing new therapies, and employ an evidence-based approach to the management of gastrointestinal disorders • Identify new advances presented at 2020 AASLD and assess their potential impact on clinical practice Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
